WALT: write a reflection on a movie based on a little boy named auggie.
Today We Just Watched an amazing novel/movie called Wonder.
Lets start from the beginning,Back in term 2 we as Room 10 From TPS started reading wonder, an amazing and interesting book that tells a story about Auggie Pullman, Who has a Facial Deformity that is similar to Treacher Collins Syndrome. He is starting 5th grade at a new school called Beecher Prep.
He is different from all the other students and kids. But what makes him stand out is his amazing knowledge and his journey through his first time at school. He challenges through bullying and staring a lot throughout the year. The Pullman Family go through a lot through the year but always stuck together as a family. It was an amazing movie and i recommend people to watch the movie and trailer
My Favourite Quote in that movie and book was If you had a choice between being right and being kind, choose kind.
My Favourite Actor/Person is Auggie, Because he is intelligent, even though he gets bullied he always have the will and motivation to get through them and always keep learning. Auggie pullman is an amazing person, even if he has a facial deformity, He still is an amazing, smart and independent student. He is as normal as anyone else.
The Book and Movie similarities are quite identical but also different. A lot of the scenes are different in the book.
For example, in the book at the Nature reserve Jack,Auggie,Amos,Miles and Henry are in a little argument with 7th grades out in the woods at night. In the movie they are out in the woods but in the evening where the sun is still out. It is incredible that things change from the book and movie.
This book is inspiring and heart warming to people that have a similar syndrome to auggie. it shows them that even if there different, everyone is different in an unique way, No one asked to get anything from the life cycle everyone goes through but receive it for a reason. Being different is unique and amazing. People just look at it different, But once they meet the person its more then it seems.
The Movie and book is inspiring and I love it.
Please watch the movie and book. It will really change your mindset.

Cure Kids Support
Kia Ora, Today Tamaki primary came to school in red. We came to school in red because we have been told to help support the Cure Kids by having a red nose day. The whole school participated in having a red nose day sports game. But each class had different times to go out. Room 10 participated in a Kelly sports event to support cure kids. If you want to know more about cure kids please click this Link.
Cure kids is a group that helps kids with dangerous sickness like cancer and many more. That means they help the kids that need help and the support them to stay strong. An effect of ways they support children's health is that they get scientist to check their blood and how they will be. The effect of their research is that they could make that person happy as well as their family.
Today I participated in this activity by using all the time I have their to play sport. That means I used my time wisely against the kelly sport. An example of a game we played was capture the flag. By supporting Cure kids, I hope my impact is really helping them towards their sickness.

Coming back to school..
Nau mai, hoki mai ki taku rangitaki. Ko tenei te wahanga tuawha o te tau! Kei te pehea to hararei?
What I look forward to?
One thing I am looking forward to this term is setting positive and memorable memories. For example I want to set a goal of having a growth mindset towards others. I can achieve that by controlling my emotions and also words. If I say something bad to someone,(Which I won't) they could feel hurt and I caused the problem and I did not control myself
Personal Goal.
My personal goal for my last term of 2017 is to get high marks in my learning, and to also finish all my work. I can do that by concentrating and just keep my eyes on my netbook screen until I have finished. If i do that then I have work done and I do not have to come back to it about a week later.
End of year opportunities.
To fully enjoy these end of year opportunities, I need to remember to control myself when something is happening. For example if their is a problem like, FIGHTING i can either help sensibly or just control my own self and walk away. If I do that then I can effect myself by doing the right thing.
