My Matariki Goals

Kia Ora, This Morning I did a screencastify on my New Beginning Matariki Goals. The task was about setting Goals for this New Year and How we can achieve it. I liked this because It was nice and simple on How and Who will help me set goals. The effect of having a New beginning each year is that you can have a New personality which will make yourself stand out in front of friends and also people in the community. Matariki Stars 🤑 🤗 💮

Kia Ora Koutou Katoa. Let me ask you a Question, In which way or how do you see 

the Matariki stars. In my memory I see the Matariki stars as Baseball Pit with extra lines outside it. 

For an example their is a Diamond shaped as a Baseball pit and their Has an extra Triangle as the Tail. The effect of knowing the Matariki as a Picture is that you will know when the maori New year has Started. For this task, as you can see the pictures are outlined by my hand. I used the baseball because the Pit is the same and never changed but, Each quarter turns 90 degrees each orientation. And their are 4 quarters. So the Matariki stars turns up to 360 degrees. I have 2 things I learnt in this task. My first option I learnt about this task I that it never flips, It only rotates. Te Reo Maori😛 🤑

For this task I had to answer Question in maori. For an example there are questions like, He aha te kupu wai or He aha te kupu Pata, The effect of knowing our language is that we get to learn it. In my point of view I think that the more we don't learn our language and represent our culture, The more that our language dies. I really want to learn my culture more because I don't want it to be the most unspoken culture in the world. Kia Kaha, Learn our Language and don't Let It die.

💪🏼Sugar Raps💪🏼🍦 🍰

Kia Ora Koutou. For the past few weeks we have been learning about sugar and how it can effect our bodies. So today I have learnt to be confident. For an example when I went to go and perform in front of the class I was getting shy and I was not sure If i could do it. The effect of eating sugar is that it can put you into places where you would not want to be like Diabetes or a liver damage. Another thing I have learnt was to stay in time with the beat when I rap. For an example every time I would practice I would always start to early, Start too late or I would always stop. The effect of me always trying to do my rap is that I can learn for next time on how things should go. What I found challenging was arguing with my buddy on weather we should go up next because I did not want to. I felt happy because i was being supported by pairs so I felt very confident. In my point of view i think that the purpose of sharing in front of pairs with our raps, Is because we need to build relationship and confident where we are, Also so we don't put each others down. Next week I am going to work on going up quickly and show others that I can be a leader.

In my point of view,I thought that was so easy because it was a simple question to answer. I liked doing the task because some teachers found it hard to answer and they were being active to answer the question. Technology Reflection

So today in technology I am designing a toy of mine. The toy that I am making is a pulling horse that has wheels. In my point of view, I think that my toy is useful because it can be used as a display or a toy to walk. In my technology group I did well in participating and contributing to the task I was finishing. Maybe for next week I could work on finishing more of my project and more concentrating then talking. My goal for working in this technology group is that i need to build relation with others surrounding me. The effect of being kind and showing the Tamaki value(Manaakitanga) which means caring for others, I can become a remembrance person.

Surviving Rekohu😚 😋

For this task I had to answer what Year I would live in out of the Moriori days or now. The reason why I chose now is because I wanted to see How clean the seafood is. And also why I want to live in the moriori days Is because I want to experience what kept them warm and If the got into war. Here is a few questions. Have you ever discovered any answer from your Grandad or Nana, Because I haven't. My mums parents has never discovered war or even getting seafood.
