Today I started a new Whakatauki, I thought it was pretty challenging because I had to think of my own english version of the Whakatauki, I really liked this one because It helped me on changing my decision on buying healthy and junk food. Hope you enjoy.

Whakatauki O te wiki T3W5

Kia ora, Today me and my class learnt a new whakatauki o te wiki,

He iti hoki te mokoroa, nana I kakati te kahikatea, which means, You maybe small but you will always stay strong. I like this whakatauki because their will always be places where you can feel small and big. Has their ever been a time that you have felt small because I have. This was a challenging whakatauki because I really had to think deeper on where I used this whakatauki in my life. Hope you enjoy my slide. Please comment, a FEED BACK or a FEED FORWARD. Thank you, have a nice day.

Whakatauki o Te Wiki

WALT: create a whakatauki.
Na to rourou, Na taku rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.
In my point of view I think this means, When we pick for food, be collaborative and put our food together so the others know we worked as a team. Thank you.

WALT: solve an algebra question
Today we solved an algebra problem to calculate how much money would be spent and earned by 2 twins. Tom started with 20 dollars and spent 2 dollars per day, starting from Monday. Tia started with 0 dollars and earned 2 dollars 50 per day, also Starting from monday. I used a table to help me calculate the day Tia would overlap Tom with money. We made links to statistics and chose a line graph to show our thinking. You can see clearly that by Friday, Tia had more money than Tom. Thanks for Listening.
